Healthy Eating
Our poor stomach or
shall I say digestive systems! Where are the alternative healthy foods? We all need to get into a healthy eating habit!!!
From morning til night, from childhood to death, we put in our mouths whatever
we feel like having, whenever we feel like it. Whatever is within arm’s reach we consumed: foods, liquids, stimulants,
relaxants, chemicals, drugs.
I was, at
one time, guilt of this
terrible habit. When I am hungry, I mean really hungry
it wouldn’t matter even if it was a McDonalds hamburger, anything that was convenient I would eat it which of course
wasn’t good for me. Now, where ever I go I pack
myself a quick healthy
lunch or snack. This way I am NEVER given into the
compulsion of eating ANYTHING.
But
we expect our system
to somehow magically
grind it all up, sort it out, use the good, eliminate the bad, all
without any noise or complaints and still leave us lots of energy.
The human body can withstand much abuse
(miracle in itself), but not for long.
Here is a list of healthy foods
that I take and suggest you take on a regular basis.
I will continue to add more and more alternative healthy foods
to this list.
Make sure you add this site to your favorites or use
the RSS
feed (which is located on the left side under the navigation bar.
Acai
Apple Cider Vinegar
Garlic
Organic Green Tea
Organic Coconut Oil
Gluten-free
Tea Oil
Oregano Oil
Stevia
These
foods are substitute foods or alternatives
of what you are eating now. For example, instead
of drinking soda
or other sugary drinks you can drink Acai berry juice or
instead of taking antibodies
when you get a cold you can take garlic daily to
prevent colds and infections. In its place of taking diet pills you can
learn the miracle of
Coconut Oil. Also, you can substitute all those artifical sweeteners with Stevia.
Caution: Take
it slow; don’t go out and buy everything on this list. Take it easy; take
one or two things at a time. For example, use fresh, slice garlic on
your meals at dinnertime. Take small amount of ACV
in the morning and have a cup of green
tea in the afternoon. Key word is: PATIENT.
Don’t make it a big thing or you won't want to continue. Have
things accessible
in your kitchen so you
won't forget to take these wonderful alternative healthy foods.
